Organising Seminars and Conferences

SASMIRA has been continuously serving the textile industry and entrepreneurs since the last decade to create awareness in technical upgradation and emerging areas of technical textiles by way of conducting seminars and workshops at the national and international levels. Feedback from Research and Development projects are also disseminated to the industry.

In the past years SASMIRA has conducted several seminars on various topics relevant to Technical textiles.

1) Seminar on Technical Textile held in January 1998.

6) Two day workshop on Geosynthetics was held in SASMIRA on 23rd       and 24th August 2002.

8) The Technical Textiles Today and Tomorrow Seminar held jointly        by SASMIRA & IFS at SASMIRA, on 30th April 2005.
