The Proficiency Testing Program (PTP) at The Synthetic & Art Silk Mills’ Research Association (SASMIRA) is designed to support testing laboratories in evaluating and demonstrating their technical competence through interlaboratory comparison and performance evaluation.
SASMIRA is accredited as a Proficiency Testing Provider as per ISO/IEC 17043:2023 Certificate number PC-1112, offering proficiency testing schemes in the fields of Mechanical, Chemical, and Biological testing of textiles and allied materials. The program provides laboratories with an objective mechanism to assess testing accuracy, identify improvement opportunities, and strengthen confidence in reported results.
